Our combo tour includes pick-up and drop-off in downtown New Orleans, with pick-up starting at either 8:00 AM or 10:00 AM. The tour returns to downtown at approximately 3:30 PM or 5:30 PM depending on which tour time you choose.

What should I wear on the plantation tours?

 Dress for the weather since some parts of the tour are outside. Bring hats, sunscreen, umbrellas, and comfy shoes for walking on different surfaces.


How long does it take to get to the plantations from downtown New Orleans?

It's about an hour's drive, but traffic might make it longer.

How long is the plantation tour?

Tours can last from 7.5 to 8.5 hours. Plan extra time for possible traffic.


What's different between Oak Alley and Laura?

Oak Alley has a 30-minute guided tour and 90 minutes of exploring by yourself. Laura has a 2-hour guided tour. The combo tour lets you see both unique plantations.


Can I buy food and drinks at the plantations?

Oak Alley has a café, restaurant, gift shop, and bar. Laura has a gift shop with light snacks and drinks.


Where do I go to get picked up for the tour?

There are many pick-up spots throughout the French Quarter and the Central Business District of New Orleans. Contact us to find the closest one.


Are the plantation tours good for kids?

Kids of all ages are welcome, but it's a long day. Please plan accordingly. Please note there aren't any special facilities for kids at the plantations. 


Can I bring drinks on the bus?

We don't allow alcohol or overly intoxicated people on our plantation tours. Small bags for non-alcoholic drinks are okay. If you want more alcohol, think about choosing a private tour.
